Specify the port that should be opened on your local computer for SSH tunneling.
This may be any unused port number in the range from 1 to 65535.
Note that if SSH tunneling is used, you should specify localhost or 127.0.0.1 in place of the DB host and the SSH port specified here in place of the DB port in the Database URL field (the Database tab in the Data Source Properties dialog). |
| Proxy host | Specify the hostname (domain name) or IP address of the SSH proxy server that you are using. The SSH proxy server host must be accessible by the specified hostname or IP address from your local computer. |
| Port | Specify the port on which your SSH proxy server accepts SSH connections. The port number 22 suggested by IntelliJ IDEA is the standard port used by SSH servers. Change this number if your SSH proxy server uses a different port. |
| Proxy user | Specify the name of the SSH proxy user. |

| Remote DB host | Specify the IP address or hostname of the computer on which the target database is located. The database host must be accessible by the specified IP address or hostname from the SSH proxy server host. |

Configure SSH Tunnel Dialog
The Configure SSH Tunnel dialog opens when you click Configure SSH on the Database tab in the Data Source Properties dialog.
Use this dialog to enable SSH tunneling and to specify the associated settings.
